Our story started in 1968 when John Craddock purchased a 1948 Series One Landrover for the grand sum of fifty pounds and like so many enthusiasts, he was smitten by the charisma of the vehicle, its quaint charm, reliability and simplicity along with its ability to cover any terrain in four wheel drive.   

During the late 1960‘s and 70’s, Land Rover rallying became a popular hobby for John and he began to enjoy great success as a result.

As a result, he recognised the need for and really happened to stumble upon the business opportunity to supply a niche market. Parts for older Land Rovers were becoming scarce and the only way to source some were to sacrifice older, donor vehicles. Fellow enthusiasts were soon purchasing parts from John to a point where it became obvious that the only way that John could continue to do this was to devote all of his time and effort to supplying Land Rover parts.

John Craddock Ltd became an entity in 1970 as a result of his passion having become his business and his continued drive to deliver a customer service that goes above and beyond has resulted in continued growth of the company to its current status as a recognised Land Rover parts supplier to virtually every country in the world !
